38 1/2 weeks! Anytime now and we will officially be parents. I told Lincoln today, "we can't give him to his parents when he cries or stinks....he is our responsibility now. So crazy" I don't think it has fully hit me still. This is going to be so crazy being parents. I'm excited but a little nervous as well. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Since I haven't posted in quite some time, this will be a post of picture overdrive :) Enjoy</div>

This last weekend my dad invited us all down for a BBQ. We went shooting, BBQ after, and then played cards till late that night. It was a blast and we had a lot of fun. My grandparents came to Utah so that they would be here when Rupert gets here. It was fun to see and hang out with them all day.</div>

Vader--he loved being able to run where ever he wanted! As soon as we pulled up and let him out, he ran, peed on a bush, ran some more, marked another bush, and ran some more. If only dogs could talk, Vader would be so funny!</div>

Couple weeks ago Wendy and I threw Julie's bachelorette party. It was western theme and turned out really cute. Here is a pic of the party table we put together. Julie's wedding is this Saturday and yes, I'm a bridesmaid. It will be interesting to see if Rupert arrives after a busy/stand on my feet all day Saturday. Would be cool to give Lincoln a baby for father's day :)</div>

Almost there! This picture was taken at 29 weeks. I am now 31...which means single digets left 9 weeks!! I remember when I was only 9 weeks along. I have had the typical pregnancy side effects still...heartburn, fatigue, mood swings, feeling super chunky, almost can't paint my own toe nails. Those sort of things :) I would like to share an experience I had in case it helps other mommies out there. A few nights ago I woke up to go to the bathroom (usual) and had a super super bad pain in my right side. I could barely roll over. After I went to the bathroom it seemed to feel better. So I went back to bed. The next time I got up to go I had the same pain and it seemed to go away after emptying my bladder. Then I had it again when my bladder got full and relief after going. I called my doc who had me come in so that he could check a few things. I didn't end up having any of the scary things that can happen...like the little bone on your pelvic colapsing which could cause similar if not worse pain. He did let me know that when I sleep on my right side, Rupert's and the uterus weight on the drainage tube from my kidney to bladder gets smashed all night while I'm sleeping and it can cause pain when I go to the bathroom since it wasn't draining properly. The cure...sleep on my left side, use a pillow to prop my hips up, and if I wake up on my right side to switch back to my left. This has helped so much and I haven't had that super bad pain since. As all mom's know, pregnancy really takes a tole on your body and there are multiple things that don't function right :) I guess it is just trial and error to figure out what makes these 40 weeks more comfortable.</div>

Yesterday my mom, Aunt L, Bobbie, Emily and Mia came with me to go fabric shopping for Rupert. We got some really cute fabric and I can't wait for the finished project! Such a fun day and I am thankful for my family that was able to come shopping with me. And thanks Aunt L for your next many hours of sewing time!</div>

Check out the awesome Lorax trees. They turned out sooo adorable! Thanks Becky! Once it all dries I will have the crib up next to that wall so that the Lorax is peeking down on him :) His nursery is the best room in the house. I had Becky paint the grass on the wall underneath the window. It turned out perfect.</div>

I thought I would share a few photos with you. We have made a lot of progress on the nursery. Dr. Seuss theme. It has turned out so cute! All we have left is to paint the Lorax trees behind the crib.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I couldn't resist buying him a matching polo. Lincoln and Rupert will be getting pics in those for sure! And the Jordan outfit will be his coming home outfit. The onesie is too big but he will wear the beanie and booties with probably a red onesie.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Everything is going good. He is moving more and more everyday. Once I got past the nausea it really hasn't been bad at all. I have normal pregnancy side-effects...fatigue, congestion, uncomfortable sleeping, heartburn, etc. Three more months and the little dude will be here!</div>

Yes, it has been a long while since I have blogged. And I have pretty awesome news! Most of you already know. IT'S A BOY! We are expecting our first little dude on June 21st. We are both really excited and are a bit nervous for this next step in our lives. It is such a HUGE responsibility but we are ready for the challenge :) Oh and did I mention what a miracle it is for a human to grow another human! This has amazed me since day one. And now to have it happen to me is just so aawh inspiring! I love seeing him in all the ultrasounds. He started as a little blob, to a jelly bean, to actually looking like a human. It is so amazing!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He will be named after his daddy and grandpa: Rupert Lincoln Dziuk</div>

The first picture was taken at 12 weeks. The second is a pic of my first maturnity pants at about 15 weeks. They are so much more comfortable then the "rubberband" trick. I am now at 16 weeks...and growing :)</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here are a few things that have been happening since my last post.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Anniversay: I got stuck pictures to the end of balloons (4 = 4 years together) and wrote something I love about my husband that related to each picture. I also got him a few odds and ends gifts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghcZngoOilVBGCnGiuOOet_nFdNh95Leqoqdbh3JIz7eTsC3HUbsgUp0qwTgs1lC1EEL1C6gFcaY-3i4jCJn_QeCTSl45UWtZodkvkTRrnoY04zy95tnZpCgg-TRPiUqlOZSVpuAE0XoHq/s1600/Resampled_2012-11-14_22-44-44_224.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghcZngoOilVBGCnGiuOOet_nFdNh95Leqoqdbh3JIz7eTsC3HUbsgUp0qwTgs1lC1EEL1C6gFcaY-3i4jCJn_QeCTSl45UWtZodkvkTRrnoY04zy95tnZpCgg-TRPiUqlOZSVpuAE0XoHq/s320/Resampled_2012-11-14_22-44-44_224.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
On our anniversay we had to get rid of Tupac :( Since we got him we have been struggling with him "marking" his territory. After his 10th second chance, he decided to mark our new couches! I couldn't take it anymore so we made the hard decision to find him a better home. We took him to a wonderful animal shelter that had high rates in adoptions. It was a very sad day. I spent the day crying because I felt like an awful human to get rid of him. Lincoln got a tracking number from the shelter so that we could look him up on their website. I waited about a week to do so. When I went to look for his number, he was nowhere on their site. I also noticed pets dropped off the same day and days after that were still posted. I have a super good feeling that he was adopted and to a loving family that can give him the attention he needs! He was such a lover and sweetheart. I will forever remember him!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
p.s. we still have sweet Nikki! and oh how she has come out of her shell.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We are doing the nursery Dr Seuss theme. So far we have painted and acquired cute plug covers. Once we get the crib we can order the bedding. It is going to turn out so cute and I will post when we finish it. Below is a picture of Lincoln's old dresser that I wanted to paint yellow. It turned out exactly how I wanted! Here is a picture of the plug covers. We also got a lightswitch cover that matches. I posted the other picture to show the painting process. It took many many layers to cover the dresser to the right color.</div>

Lincoln is still working for the Forest Service. He is playing city league basketball this winter. I'm still working at Guild Mortgage and this week I will start working evenings at H&R Block. It will be a busy schedule but I can't pass up the experience.</div>

Finally, I'm posting pictures of our place. I keep changing things around and even since these pics I have changed a few things. We still have not decorated....nervous about making holes in the walls. Guess that comes with having a brand new condo with brand new walls haha I remember my dad not wanting to put holes in the walls too. We must have that in common :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Some of these are before pics and others are after unpacking.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here are the specs:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
3 bedroom, 2 bath, kitchen, dining area, pantry, laundry room, master walk-in closet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7nTw4PKWM4G-xOX0PxF-2Zm_BODbNtdgkV6rDV1NnGnssRr1Z-qQMZVvtJVOQWtTnKXYDkcbp_gS1OS0lEQeXUa1YGvC2bc4Nk2MBgusEbp2xk6zUoHRT9LvmJR5IYIJRSduhpruYZTmG/s1600/2012-04-28_13-13-58_7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7nTw4PKWM4G-xOX0PxF-2Zm_BODbNtdgkV6rDV1NnGnssRr1Z-qQMZVvtJVOQWtTnKXYDkcbp_gS1OS0lEQeXUa1YGvC2bc4Nk2MBgusEbp2xk6zUoHRT9LvmJR5IYIJRSduhpruYZTmG/s320/2012-04-28_13-13-58_7.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is right after we moved all the boxes in. Living room was full!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Nikki loved exporing (after she got over freak-out mode) and still jumps onto the top shelves in the walk-in closet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
For a couple weeks we did not have living room furniture (gave our previous couches to Tiff & Ryan) so we sat on camp chairs! We also did not have a fridge since we order a brand new one from RCWilley</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
The patio has definitely been an awesome feature of our place. The cats love hanging out there! This next pic is of Tupac taking off from our patio across the roof to the neighbors patio. At the time when he loved doing this, there were no neighbors. Now we have neighbors in that condo and he hasn't been over since.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAHwz7WjOfqCrUpSf-2osw6zvodMRiEuD1t0huaBFWuYEuqr_auGFylQRBaPTfVqNq7Ah7_dGmjsTk2VE-AzMim0N0Ur4sLLPmNK3hAcOVYVcnXMsy0_xe_2OIr9OCNPpGSMU4EpoqyO_m/s1600/2012-05-03_08-59-09_77.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAHwz7WjOfqCrUpSf-2osw6zvodMRiEuD1t0huaBFWuYEuqr_auGFylQRBaPTfVqNq7Ah7_dGmjsTk2VE-AzMim0N0Ur4sLLPmNK3hAcOVYVcnXMsy0_xe_2OIr9OCNPpGSMU4EpoqyO_m/s320/2012-05-03_08-59-09_77.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love that we are in the middle level because I don't have to worry about them taking off. They just chill out there for hours watching people and other animals pass by.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
There is a cat from the neighborhood that likes to come over ONTO our patio! When this happens Tupac tries to pick a fight so I have to bring them inside and they can hiss at each other through the screen door. lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm thinking about making a little "box of grass" for the cats to enjoy. Also, I really want a hammock for my patio. One that can be put away when I'm off the patio. I'm thinking I will just need to install some hooks...this is on my wish list so hopefully we can figure it out!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is the laundry room with my awesome washer & dryer. Take note that I have not had a washer and dryer for 4 years!! I feel so spoiled now and LOVE doing laundry. Nothing like a warm fluffy blanky fresh out of the dryer :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is the guest bathroom. We haven't even bought a shower rod or curtain lol It is so nice to have a bathroom that is always clean for guests! I don't get embarrassed when people use the bathroom now cuz it's always clean</div>

Living Room. Lincoln got his recliner! The couch is from the in-laws until we decide on one we want. Lincoln says to do red in the living room, hence the curtains. I'm trying to decide if I want to go that direction.... The tall thingy in the corner is a cover for the patio. Like a screen cover you can pull up and down. Still haven't installed it yet. Honestly not sure how to :) So it will sit in the corner</div>

<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">The following is quoted from Fox13now.com</span><br />
<strong><u>"Clay Springs Fire grows to 30,000 acres</u></strong><br />
OAK CITY, Millard County, Utah — Oak City residents were able to return to their homes Thursday morning after the fast-moving Clay Springs Fire forced them to evacuate Wednesday. However, authorities say a wind shift could have them out again.<br />
The Richfield Interagency Fire Center says the fire sparked in Clay Springs Canyon nearly five miles south of Oak City and has raged on, pushed by gusting winds. As of Thursday afternoon, the blaze has burned an estimated 30,000 acres and has no containment.<br />
Millard County Sheriff Robert Dekker says that the town of Leamington may be threatened as the fire heads in that direction. He says evacuation orders may come soon while reverse 911 calls were made to warn the some 400 residents there.<br />
“We notified them by reverse 911 and contacted some of the leadership in the community through the phone trees and different things to keep people notified and up-to-date,” said Dekker.<br />
One cabin was destroyed and three maintenance sheds were damaged from the fire.<br />
“We got damage to several other areas, some minor damage to some homes, but we only had one loss,” said Dekker. “The firefighters did a tremendous job. There’s no other way to put it.”<br />
Residents of both Oak City and Fool Creek had to leave their homes on Wednesday, according to the Bureau of Land Management. Oak City residents have been allowed back into their homes, but they are told to remain on standby in case they need to be re-evacuated.<br />
Evacuees are told to relocate to the LDS Stake Center in Delta (126 Whitesage Ave.).<br />
A type 2 team was called in to help Millard County and state forestry crews fight the fire."<br />

I spent a lot of fun times with Bobbie, Ryan, and the kids so I thought I would share some fun photos. Ryan talked Bobbie into doing a 5k with the kids...she asked for my help. I loved it! Kaylin walked the whole thing! Even after falling down once. Tough Girl. And the twins were good the whole time. They had the best seat :)</div>

The whole family came over to our condo to go swimming. We had a blast and I can't wait for them to come again.</div>

Kaylin had a dance recital a while ago. Both sets of grandparents were there! I thought that was really awesome of them to show their support. I had been to one of Kaylin's practices and this was really fun to see it all come together. She did awesome! </div>

If you mix Almond Breeze vanilla, Dole pineapple chunks, Dole pineapple juice, and some ice you get a very yummy drink! I think you are suppose to get the almond breeze coconut flavor but it still works with vanilla flavor. YUM YUM</div>

I finished reading the Hunger Games trilogy which I really enjoyed! Super easy read but it really holds your attention. The first book was by far my favorite. The second book I felt like was the ending of the first and the beginning of the last one. So I guess it is a good "bridge" book. The last 100 pages of the third book were really good. I also saw the movie and it was superb :) They did a really good job with it! I really hope they don't get Robert Pattinson to do the 2nd one though. He had his moments with Twilight and I don't want to see him in this one. I did enjoy him in Water for Elephants. (That's a good movie too). Anyways...If you haven't read this trilogy, you should! </div>

The next series I'm working on reading is Ender's Game. There are 14 books! I have read the first one Ender's Game, then Speaker for the Dead, and I'm currently on Xenocide. I read Ender's Game when I was younger and love it! Still love it! It is a book found in the science fiction section but I'm a huge fan. I'm going to read the books in order of when they were published although the chronological order is very different. I like to read it the way the author stubbbled upon it....so to speak. I definitely recommend this series also. An easy read and very enjoyable no matter what kind of books you are into.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<br />
Oh and...they are making Ender's Game a movie! It comes out November 1, 2013. Although the date keeps being moved back. But they are in the process of production. Asa Butterfield is going to be playing Ender! If you don't know who I'm talking about...google it :) Or if you have seen Hugo, he is the main character. Such a cute and talented kid! I can't wait to see him bring Ender to life. It should be pretty good.</div>

I never finished Crooked Letter Crooked Letter because I just had to read Hunger Games before I watched the movie. And as you can see I got side tracked. I also got a graduation present from Lincoln's uncle Ed...a nook book! That is in the line to be read. It looks/sounds like a good one! Since we purchased a condo we had to go through the HOA people. It's actually a temporary internet service until they figure out what they are going to do....the original company is mad at Payson city (long story) so we have been caught in the middle of the mess! As soon as I find my usb cord for my phone to download pictures I will start the multiple posts of our last few months of crazy! Stay tuned....sldziukhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11833887684288339082noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585647331656053545.post-49154677426276413422012-03-17T13:42:00.001-07:002012-03-17T13:44:10.354-07:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHonkgqcbU0yVotquNEbbeBP_SGTzvJlkRTPp7K8-Fy_4KN82d6ZTwbEhOeLaYBq2fwEkSRDc85iPDe7mUS1PdAifuo3hRN3lS7BEZc3FwZZTtxRCa5t7ppngQyylDpHGz63Nj_1Xs36zc/s1600/2012-02-10_14-49-43_417.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 181px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5720969412660820098" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHonkgqcbU0yVotquNEbbeBP_SGTzvJlkRTPp7K8-Fy_4KN82d6ZTwbEhOeLaYBq2fwEkSRDc85iPDe7mUS1PdAifuo3hRN3lS7BEZc3FwZZTtxRCa5t7ppngQyylDpHGz63Nj_1Xs36zc/s320/2012-02-10_14-49-43_417.jpg" /></a>hahasldziukhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11833887684288339082noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585647331656053545.post-3590475668913548782012-03-06T11:19:00.005-08:002012-03-06T11:50:34.038-08:00De-junkingWe are in the process of purchasing a Ridgestone Condo in Payson! We have signed the purchase contract; picked out cabinets, tile, carpet, countertops, etc...; and started processing our loan. I can't wait for it to be all done. Below is a picture of the model home we walked through. We went with the same cabinets. Our countertops will be a similar light color but the tile on the floor will be darker. More pictures will come when we actually have ours built!<br /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 223px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5716868424020291490" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4lobe1gpE7WM49BDdSekXj1zjJL24BmoH6W45MZD5Ca5PJPA-lBFJ4VNkUVO-BM5JWHdxc7piBnuOPPfu2EuiUUruh8zyKt8TpvKB-sBaqPbjec8dVRXuVJ6sLgE6xKvdDUgGh8ocsyJn/s320/kitchen.jpg" /><br />So I have been working on de-junking our little apartment. I went through my closet over the weekend and got rid of a lot of clothes that don't fit or I just don't like anymore. I can't believe I was able to detached from clothes! I felt like I needed an intervention like on hoarders :) Causes me anxiety to get rid of stuff that I once was crazy about! But satifaction of a cleaner, more organized closet sounds much better.<br />Our linen closet has been FULL of puzzles and I knew that I needed to go through them. Today I tackled this project!<br /><br /><div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDSGQ_8hVYqgJiWtDMsrhT4I_Mm-ow5qCbWMnqSKkKNiZk4BuStFi7IkWxDSKbPS1Sv9BxqoFjOwGMpqWNCOSLlzDXJuSuBgDooSdK1JRihktUYv_CTcTajT89Oicg9U_A2kRo9qOG5FGX/s1600/2012-03-06_10-41-29_668.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 181px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5716867400009817314" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDSGQ_8hVYqgJiWtDMsrhT4I_Mm-ow5qCbWMnqSKkKNiZk4BuStFi7IkWxDSKbPS1Sv9BxqoFjOwGMpqWNCOSLlzDXJuSuBgDooSdK1JRihktUYv_CTcTajT89Oicg9U_A2kRo9qOG5FGX/s320/2012-03-06_10-41-29_668.jpg" /></a>These are the puzzles I kept (<strong>64</strong>--because the big packs on the end have 10/each)<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9fbaqnh1kA0zgF5vPnSoJSBHQk5mcCkcB-0hKlzq5zdNxE8UwIxQdKEUSOzbp6ysW529U5Wm4dMgc2OQyu4uUrjWDAeo2PsLNj9Vky2mmBSOO21CwFIOqRqoPXn-BGUuf3KUBRILeV_t0/s1600/2012-03-06_10-42-48_833.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 181px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5716867242678733186" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9fbaqnh1kA0zgF5vPnSoJSBHQk5mcCkcB-0hKlzq5zdNxE8UwIxQdKEUSOzbp6ysW529U5Wm4dMgc2OQyu4uUrjWDAeo2PsLNj9Vky2mmBSOO21CwFIOqRqoPXn-BGUuf3KUBRILeV_t0/s320/2012-03-06_10-42-48_833.jpg" /></a>and these are the ones I'm getting rid of (<strong>32</strong>--1/3 of the original stash)<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-WQSK8YHq9EdH8xT6K7n2IIeoofIPpe8Szgx8siMnF1kWCeWQspM36wVAAgJeqDHQmiSDIIUN4CgwkhMp38XT2LLSjCsgJmzwJalLi9Y-y00d6jUokKucBeSjAYsCb5_xEOtmh9iHpHDX/s1600/2012-03-06_10-29-22_647.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 181px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5716867237233678130" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-WQSK8YHq9EdH8xT6K7n2IIeoofIPpe8Szgx8siMnF1kWCeWQspM36wVAAgJeqDHQmiSDIIUN4CgwkhMp38XT2LLSjCsgJmzwJalLi9Y-y00d6jUokKucBeSjAYsCb5_xEOtmh9iHpHDX/s320/2012-03-06_10-29-22_647.jpg" /></a>This puzzle has never been open. I believe that one of my aunts got it for g-ma for christmas, ?maybe. If <em>YOU</em> are reading this and recognize this puzzle, I would be glad to get it back to you. Otherwise it will stay with my new stash. My first thought is to put them in boxes that are ALL the same size so that they stack much easier. I did a quick search and found the above picture that I really like but the downfall is that they are NOT cheap and I need 64! haha Eventually I hope to come up with some fabulous idea. (if any of you come up with one before me, let me know!)<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiP_pkz1T-ZjHZQGQBfC3894OtLH_2Gx0cWsABhvB1AvCTJ5qZzeZKlKiRRK98UmQ1fSyLXazfU5b0Pwbms5uniSlQZS4_Z-S9Q725e8cEpHgzQP1zTZkLO94wtXGch5to0blPnclboiuxn/s1600/2012-03-05_19-30-02_308.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 181px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5716867229598740962" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiP_pkz1T-ZjHZQGQBfC3894OtLH_2Gx0cWsABhvB1AvCTJ5qZzeZKlKiRRK98UmQ1fSyLXazfU5b0Pwbms5uniSlQZS4_Z-S9Q725e8cEpHgzQP1zTZkLO94wtXGch5to0blPnclboiuxn/s320/2012-03-05_19-30-02_308.jpg" /></a>I made this for Wendy's baby shower coming up later this month! We stood at the back of the ESA before the Jazz players came in to practice and were able to get some autographs, one-on-one time with players, and pictures! The other day we got pretty much every player to stop and take pics with us! It was Millsap's b-day, February 10th, and Lincoln got his "Millsap" jersey signed! He was pretty happy about that (as you can tell from his picture).</div><br /><div align="center"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 200px; height: 150px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5716114823054170482" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwu6-1sE7VLiq-Ut-ic1LFh08jQcY3brXtBmsrE4vRkz0shpAv4zDaMV3sRPjeadIHIYY1ZAT4HY59B5p-mVtfSiWJ3Rn4Yrwa_jnGOgeav8AUQ8HBRPRGgSqwgnbQKew_QSJEDaZpN3r6/s200/Ty+Corbin.JPG" />Coach Ty Corbin<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfy_gFyMB3JftBkhSFPMOhGMEpfg0-EcBh83d3PyIZyXqBxmRtCo_Aoe621WtTOaSSgLrAZzHzFAQf6T1QHcgZJg1DB91akmnTYG98E5hF-g5zuiZM4wilvLVYxJYJwFGlQ3bjnD_WbQtE/s1600/Millsap.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; So when I saw this tutorial I really wanted to <strong>'just do it'</strong>. I rarely ever sew and have never done a zipper before either. The tutorial <a href="http://littlebirdiesecrets.blogspot.com/2011/02/how-to-sew-nook-or-kindle-case-tutorial.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+LittleBirdieSecrets+%28Little+Birdie+Secrets%29"><span style="font-size:78%;">http://littlebirdiesecrets.blogspot.com/2011/02/how-to-sew-nook-or-kindle-case-tutorial.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+LittleBirdieSecrets+%28Little+Birdie+Secrets%29</span></a> seemed pretty simple though. If that link doesn't work then you can find it through my pinterest board "Nook" and if you don't have <strong>pinterest</strong> then you should leave your email in the comments to this post because it is <strong>amazing </strong>:)</div><div>This was my first time sewing a zipper and using stabilizer. <strong>Neat</strong> stuff! I'm really liking it and can't wait to start understanding the process. There is A LOT of paper work when getting a mortgage loan....who knew?! haha If you know of anyone that is looking to refinance or get a loan, let me know! After 3 interviews I finally got the job! I will be a receptionist/personal assistant for Guild Mortgage Company. It looks like it will be a good job and a great opportunity to grow with the company. Hopefully I will start training thursday...I will keep you guys posted :)<br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">it's snowing :(</span>sldziukhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11833887684288339082noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585647331656053545.post-44784714080998984012012-01-16T16:21:00.000-08:002012-01-16T16:29:11.490-08:00Poor KittyI took Nikki to the vet today because her eye was all swollen last night. The vet said she has a bacterial infection and gave me some eye drops. She walks around with one eye open :) Poor kitty. Hope the drops clear it up.<br />This weekend we decided to go to Wendover for a night. We ended up winning $650! It was worth the trip over :) Then we came back to slc the next day, went to Sherlock Holmes, walked around South Towne mall, ate at Little America, and then went to the Jazz game! It was a fun weekend!<br />This week I have an interview! Yay! and tomorrow I will get a call from another place to set up interviews. I'm really glad I'm finally getting interviews! I'm hoping that I get one of the jobs but it's hard to say. The one email I got was sent to at least 13 other people! Hopefully my degree gives me some sort of edge. Cross your fingers for me :)<br /><br />ttfnsldziukhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11833887684288339082noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585647331656053545.post-47349083132544925452012-01-09T11:52:00.000-08:002012-01-09T12:16:30.259-08:00New Computer :)I'm still working on getting rid of this cold! Drinking liquids and taking it easy. The last couple of days I have actually done my hair and put at least mascara on. I feel more alive if I look put-together :) I don't ever remember getting sick for a whole week! Okay so this probably sounds like complaining but seriously, I rarely get sick! I get frustrated because it really puts a damper on getting stuff done (like those dishes in the sink haha).<br /><br />The real reason I wanted to post today is......I got a new laptop!!! Aaah and I love it :) Here's the specs: Asus model X53E with intel core i7, windows 7 premium, 4GB memory, 500GB HDD, 2-USB 2, 1-USB 3, 10-key, 15.6" screen, and other fun stuff like CDROM and such. This new laptop is much faster than my original Dell. Lincoln bought it for me from RC Willey. Thanks hun! He also picked himself up an iPad2, which he is really liking! So far I have set up my favorites bar, downloaded some anti-virus software (AVG), checked e-mail, blogged ;), installed Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010, updated my resume (now that I have an up-to-date Word program), browsed the web, and currently listening to pandora! I'm very pleased with it!<br /><br />The job searching is still in progress :( So far I have looked on ksl.com/jobs, monster.com, and a few others. I have sent my resume in to 9 different jobs. Only two have responded that the position has been filled. No interviews....no responses....hope is dwindling.... :( I need to think positive but I really just wish I had a job. I'm going to go spruce up my cover letter and see where that gets me. Any tips and/or jobs you know about would be appreciated!<br /><br />ttfn (;sldziukhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11833887684288339082noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585647331656053545.post-76833266348177926542012-01-06T20:19:00.000-08:002012-01-06T21:03:49.745-08:00RSL and JAZZI don't think I have blogged since I finished school...I am DONE!!! Finals went pretty good. I studied like crazy and turned out with pretty good grades. UVU only does one graduation "walk" a year which will be held in April. I believe that is when I will receive my actual diploma and Kati got me a really cute frame to put it in! Im looking forward to hanging that on my wall :)<br /><br />I tried the 'rub-on' nail polish thing the other day....here is the pic. They turned out pretty cool and it was super easy! No waiting for them to dry! The general manager and some of the players spoke, there were prizes given out, and locker room tours. I have posted a few of the pictures below. Enjoy :)<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMdzWJW82CMLVSqz5CV8Rf7GCNbO15p4UC9mKLPCFCJfRIPc5MQaTdts7Hoako7h7OE2-BB-KK43COFKXCDttd7-KM1X6P4TKmvQoP66PUnGOkwlrbozEucXwYXZDpscIhhH6_a2gY629_/s1600/2011-12-17_13-42-15_46.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 181px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5694741665958808610" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMdzWJW82CMLVSqz5CV8Rf7GCNbO15p4UC9mKLPCFCJfRIPc5MQaTdts7Hoako7h7OE2-BB-KK43COFKXCDttd7-KM1X6P4TKmvQoP66PUnGOkwlrbozEucXwYXZDpscIhhH6_a2gY629_/s320/2011-12-17_13-42-15_46.jpg" /></a>Our season tickets are the five seats by the "L" in Lake. We got there close to four so that we could stand out back and get autographs from the players. It was so freezing cold! So I ran over to the gateway and got starbucks :) After getting some pretty sweet autographs (Memo even stopped...even though he got traded right after this night haha) we headed to the front to stand in line. They wouldn't let anyone in until 6p.m. so we had stood outside in the freezing cold for TWO HOURS! My body was sore from shivering! The game was really fun and it was neat to meet the new guys.</div><br /><div>Since that weekend we have been to a few Jazz home games and have enjoyed watching them win. The thursday before new years Lincoln and I went to Bobbie and Ryan's to play games. It was really fun! and Kaylin even talked to Lincoln haha She is usually scared of him. Ashlyn just glares at him and Evan plays peek-a-boo.</div><br /><div>Lincoln got a cold on monday (and still has it) and I got it on tuesday night (and still have it)! I don't ever remember having a cold this bad! I had a super bad fever and painful body aches! We went through a whole bottle of robitusim! I'm hoping we are better soon cuz this is no fun :(</div><br /><div>Hope everyone else is doing good and staying healthy :)</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>sldziukhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11833887684288339082noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585647331656053545.post-85316970301000825732011-12-01T19:54:00.000-08:002011-12-01T20:16:12.654-08:00Future Plans<div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzJZW9Mx2Vdx9Ic3PRahfMzGISzIeqFXMBbJnwpBzSMazYfCT1LJSKUjHVpmqeezvwfXKLuSoBQVMxsS4f1IkCxy-3jHEtpHddSYFA45K1TAokjAXzePXMkhIAIU4B3Zdq_Um6KseGe8-3/s1600/63120832246935220_eFv8piXy_c.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 213px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5681375366002097042" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzJZW9Mx2Vdx9Ic3PRahfMzGISzIeqFXMBbJnwpBzSMazYfCT1LJSKUjHVpmqeezvwfXKLuSoBQVMxsS4f1IkCxy-3jHEtpHddSYFA45K1TAokjAXzePXMkhIAIU4B3Zdq_Um6KseGe8-3/s320/63120832246935220_eFv8piXy_c.jpg" /></a> I saw this on pinterest.com and loved it :) I want it to snow, once, so I can make my own! I bet Lincoln would say they were cute. haha he supports me in my random craftiness.</div><br /><div align="center"></div><br /><div align="center">Bring on the Bachelors Degree! I will have my BS in Accounting very very soon. One more week of school and a week of finals. I am unbelievably excited and really proud of myself. I am definitely self motivated and accomplishing this makes me really happy.</div><br /><div align="center"></div><br /><div align="center">The next step...job search and deciding where to live. Two super big steps in life!</div><br /><div align="center">We are debating whether to buy a "used" home or purchase a NEW one...Below are a few ideas of house plans that I have been looking at. I took a drafting class in highschool and I really enjoy looking at house plans. I could spend HOURS browsing :) I can't wait to start walking through demo houses. Bring on the Debt haha! If only houses weren't so expensive....</div><br /><div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhY_nuRp-YKvC9yJ-iYPJu8OD58vWaANHOOpSaeh6tiT2ZnARi8T_ZHFKJAGel-HWAjJgkOI0akK1NA2wB2NP1SBm9V3ye5335XFAotLitPBiTBP7HEjLAyaJgpI-yEnG3WxY3Yhcm-AEex/s1600/115%252520Holiday_floorplan_display.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5681375361648406082" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhY_nuRp-YKvC9yJ-iYPJu8OD58vWaANHOOpSaeh6tiT2ZnARi8T_ZHFKJAGel-HWAjJgkOI0akK1NA2wB2NP1SBm9V3ye5335XFAotLitPBiTBP7HEjLAyaJgpI-yEnG3WxY3Yhcm-AEex/s320/115%252520Holiday_floorplan_display.jpg" /></a>If you have been in my mom's house, you can understand that I would love to have Hickory cabinets....or possibly knotty pine? I believe that is what her pantry door is made out of.</div><br /><div align="center">In the above plan I would change to porch to a storage room (similar to my parents).<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQmqzeaRlpAMcgNEVi1tQo6RmTfeidPxfsTbzzCYeXN1NrSxLJaMm7a1FIEGWDmb2TbKG_VuG9bhjmRdwCVNa8tUuG6QDMaZ8iNJ-keUA69tUESZcgSMjHkmbUxexTB6IOzqWva4ITsijT/s1600/382%252520Northern__display.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 178px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5681375356758589298" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQmqzeaRlpAMcgNEVi1tQo6RmTfeidPxfsTbzzCYeXN1NrSxLJaMm7a1FIEGWDmb2TbKG_VuG9bhjmRdwCVNa8tUuG6QDMaZ8iNJ-keUA69tUESZcgSMjHkmbUxexTB6IOzqWva4ITsijT/s320/382%252520Northern__display.jpg" /></a> I really love this above plan. I would get rid of the wall in the laundry room so that the kids could drag laundry straight through instead of walking through the kitchen. I'm loving the closet in the master bedroom and Lincoln would love the den.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9Ca5J_Aoom1Mta61ufb-NAI_gm0kWpFqItQD1E3D70AU1XM71-eAw-Exbn8tTpMwLretCS48DJb4lZCL0ERW8T04bSP53JY7bzdIAbtNJ2PWAKYjm_2Lalu-wg3AM9pc7FcrUDpb6Jg7e/s1600/597-SX-LT.gif"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 139px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5681375355191857442" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9Ca5J_Aoom1Mta61ufb-NAI_gm0kWpFqItQD1E3D70AU1XM71-eAw-Exbn8tTpMwLretCS48DJb4lZCL0ERW8T04bSP53JY7bzdIAbtNJ2PWAKYjm_2Lalu-wg3AM9pc7FcrUDpb6Jg7e/s320/597-SX-LT.gif" /></a> I really like this layout also. The snack bar on the corner of the kitchen is fun. I think I would use it as a decoration area....change it according to the season. I would also like to add that I won't have carpet in the dining room....who does that!? Its like having carpet in the bathroom...the mess is just not worth it haha :)<br /><br /><div>So those are my thoughts towards Lincoln and I's future plans. Nothing is set in stone. I hope that these next few years go smoothly and we all are happy with our decisions.</div></div><br /></div>sldziukhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11833887684288339082noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585647331656053545.post-78802879712434900962011-11-20T18:48:00.000-08:002011-11-20T19:16:02.512-08:00Almost done with school...& other thingsSo it has been a while since I have posted. I thought I would jot down some stuff to update.<br />I believe I posted on my last post that I put my two weeks in. Oh it has been so nice! I think the pros outweighed the cons on this move :) I LOVE having the weekends off! I do miss all my friends from there. We have "girls' nights" planned though.<br />School is going really well this semester. As far as midterm I was sitting with all A's! Being able to focus totally on school is really nice. I have a few tests, a couple presentations, some assignments, and then finals. After that I will graduate with by Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. I'm really proud of myself for getting this far and accomplishing something so great. Next step...job searching!<br />For those that don't know, the Murphy's have the same anniversary as us. So the other night I got to babysit the kiddos while they went on a date. I just love those guys! Such good kids and a piece of cake to babysit. Kaylin is getting so smart and I'm impressed by her every time I talk to her.<br />It was our 3rd anniversary! Time flies by fast. Being married has been amazing :) You always have someone there to lean on and someone to cuddle with to watch tv. Our next big step in life is moving back to Delta. We have been searching around for a place to either rent or buy. I'm looking forward to being close to both sides of the family and finally actually living with my husband.<br />Lincoln is heading to Texas again for his job. The pros: study time for the finals. The cons: going to miss him like crazy. I try to be tough when he leaves but sometimes I just wish he was home :) Since I have not been working for a month we both believe that financially it was a good opportunity. I will be done with school when he finally gets home! Crazy! (he was excited haha he hates when I have to study study study) The #1 thing I'm looking forward to.....READING! I will be picking up some novels and enjoying myself :) Does anyone have some good recommendations?sldziukhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11833887684288339082noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585647331656053545.post-24359115398001924682011-10-18T18:37:00.000-07:002011-10-18T19:02:49.480-07:00I {heart} FallFall is definitely my favorite time of the year! It is just so pretty. The colors are so gorgeous! and the weather is so nice. Fall weather makes me want to be outside. My favorite scenario is sipping hot chocolate, wrapped in a g-ma quilt and cuddling with my hubby on the front porch! Although I do not have a porch yet, I believe that that scenario would be just lovely :)<br />This is my view walking onto campus. I really think walking into the business building is one of the most intriguing sights. I wish I had a video of the walk in, this picture doesn't give you the whole feeling.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGQmM1wpGdoiFZ4z6O7AMGCdOSZX8BWfc1yo9BRUhVUAxONE4SdrAzll_AJD_6uZmq-CgoLgGW5ARh7jlsTZXwXYOmS_r4n7kXAO6PBFigNIq8lwneR0OCVmL3z-vfy_kUXz7TSnnykWoe/s1600/2011-10-14_08-02-18_231.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 181px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5665012412611189778" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGQmM1wpGdoiFZ4z6O7AMGCdOSZX8BWfc1yo9BRUhVUAxONE4SdrAzll_AJD_6uZmq-CgoLgGW5ARh7jlsTZXwXYOmS_r4n7kXAO6PBFigNIq8lwneR0OCVmL3z-vfy_kUXz7TSnnykWoe/s320/2011-10-14_08-02-18_231.jpg" /></a> and the reason i blogged tonight...<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIMfDBJepD0VkjHV4_f1gYahWAM0BUCnbotg7xYQiCQGaNjeLaoJoCTfPrrdZttABjt2RC917Nh5JnGjiIt1MygbUopdAV1Z6QBRpa7-jy2ZTbAEoS-EomhrKdozaECIajx9AEVv6yEF3S/s1600/2011-10-18_18-54-58_94.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 181px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5665012409561796290" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIMfDBJepD0VkjHV4_f1gYahWAM0BUCnbotg7xYQiCQGaNjeLaoJoCTfPrrdZttABjt2RC917Nh5JnGjiIt1MygbUopdAV1Z6QBRpa7-jy2ZTbAEoS-EomhrKdozaECIajx9AEVv6yEF3S/s320/2011-10-18_18-54-58_94.jpg" /></a> How cute are these! Yes, those are acorns made out of nutterbutter minis, butterscotch chips, and almond kisses! I saw this crafty idea in Country Women magazine and decided it would be really simple, so I made them. Super super easy! But oh so fun. and then I had to set them up for a photo shoot :) Just taking a picture of them on a plate was not nearly as cute.<br /><br />Side note: trimmed my kitties nails today. I was super nervous but since I didn't take them to the vet to get it done, I thought it would be nice of me to help them out. They didn't seem to mind and it was not hard at all.<br /><br />Other side note: put my two weeks notice in on Saturday. I have had an awesome 5 years at Albertson's/Fresh Market. I spent 21.7% of my life there so it definitely was hard. Afterwards though, I feel really good about my decision and am ready to move forward in my life.<br /><br /><br /><br />Enjoy your Fall season and share those fun fall crafts so I can try them too :)sldziukhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11833887684288339082noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585647331656053545.post-86410564908730143262011-09-17T13:13:00.000-07:002011-09-17T13:16:22.157-07:00Shower Curtain<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBRMGAbwtzbjFSVttmghxmM1h4uchC7L8XNjxcIFlXnWX_tMUn4W-kSoRlB5c2s_jyH8d0WoDf33aMPym6IXqbqpzJod_wCWa0dQU_7N7HHDItDU_l4xe2BM3rOCQndZ25VhwSggeDwa7D/s1600/2011-09-16_14-51-51_356.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 181px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5653424819884961090" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBRMGAbwtzbjFSVttmghxmM1h4uchC7L8XNjxcIFlXnWX_tMUn4W-kSoRlB5c2s_jyH8d0WoDf33aMPym6IXqbqpzJod_wCWa0dQU_7N7HHDItDU_l4xe2BM3rOCQndZ25VhwSggeDwa7D/s320/2011-09-16_14-51-51_356.jpg" /></a> Just thought I would share this picture with you all...I got a new shower curtain! Yay! and it is super cute. Got it from target and it's cloth instead of plastic. Should hold up to my crazy animals :)sldziukhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11833887684288339082noreply@blogger.com2
